Jen Gibbons brings 14 years experience across government , non-government and private practice to Soulful Clinical Services.

Jen has worked in statutory child protection, criminal justice, youth work, mental health, trauma and chronic illnesses.
With roles in front-line case management, leadership, consultancy, projects and counselling; Jen's diverse background within the sector provides a depth of knowledge, skills and first-hand experiences that contribute to the quality of her supervision, training and workshops.

As a therapist, Jen uses a unique blend of therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique and individual needs. Jen draws on (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches and creative interventions in her sessions with you. Jen has recently started her training in EMDR.

Jen is particularly passionate about working with First Responders, complex trauma, personality vulnerabilities (including BPD), chronic suicidal ideation, and self harm.
Jen welcomes clients into Soulful Clinical Practice across the lifespan from the age of 7. 

If you're interested in workplace training, you can expect Jen's workshops to be highly practical and immersive, with a unique mix of creativity, case examples and some humour along the way. You are guaranteed to walk away with skills that you can implement into your work right away. 

Jen is a LGBTQIA+ ally and is welcoming and inclusive of people from all cultural backgrounds.
